Life can often be a traumatic struggle. It is important to learn how to manage the emotions and reactions that come from that, and to begin the healing process. I provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals who want to make sense of these situations, and who want to live a better life. Through the collaborative efforts of therapy, people can face these challenging transitions which can lead to a greater sense of peace through strength and resilience.

I am currently level 2 EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained and am well versed in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I use these to assist treatment in the areas of (but not limited to):

  • Dissociative Disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder

  • Self-esteem

  • Parenting

  • Grief and loss

  • Childhood abuse

  • Struggling with change and transition

These skills have been fostered through experience working in the inner city Boston high schools, adolescent residential treatment programs, community mental health, as well as small group practice.

I went to Boston College's School of Social Work where I completed my Masters in Social Work with a focus on adolescent treatment. I am a licensed clinical social worker in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I complete all mandatory Continuing Education Units to maintain my license and have been successfully credentialed with numerous major health insurance companies throughout my career.
